WASHINGTON – Today, Congresswoman Linda T. Sánchez (CA-38) released the following statement in recognition of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month:
WHITTIER – On Monday, Congresswoman Linda T. Sánchez (D-CA) delivered a check in the amount of $976,962 to the City of Norwalk, funding she secured as part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023.
WHITTIER – On Monday, Congresswoman Linda T. Sánchez (D-CA) delivered a check in the amount of $2,500,000 to the City of La Mirada, funding she secured as part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023.
The funding Congresswoman Sánchez secured will be used to construct landscaped median improvements in the City of La Mirada, which will improve traffic safety, enhance the aesthetics of the streetscape, and provide ecological and environmental benefits.
WASHINGTON – Today, Congresswoman Linda T. Sánchez (D-CA) and Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA) introduced the Renewable Natural Gas Incentive Act, bipartisan legislation that would provide a tax credit for renewable natural gas, which can be used in heavy-duty vehicles like buses and freight trucks to immediately reduce greenhouse gas and particulate emissions while further supporting clean and efficient transportation across the country.
WASHINGTON – Today, Congresswoman Linda T. Sánchez (D-CA) and Congressman Mike Gallagher (R-WI) introduced a bipartisan resolution designating the last Saturday of March as “Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day.”
This resolution provides long overdue recognition to thousands of Vietnam War veterans for their dedicated service to our country. The last Saturday of March, which falls on March 25 this year, marks the day when the last U.S. combat troops completed their service and left Vietnam.
WHITTIER – On Tuesday, Congresswoman Linda T. Sánchez (D-CA) delivered a check in the amount of $750,000 to the City of Whittier and Whittier Union High School District (WUHSD), funding she secured as part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023.
