Sánchez attends State of the Union

WASHINGTON – On Thursday, Congresswoman Linda T. Sánchez (CA-38) attended President Joe Biden’s third State of the Union Address alongside Pico Rivera Councilmember Gustavo Camacho.

In his address to Congress, President Biden highlighted the work his administration and Democrats are taking to lower costs, grow the middle class, defend our fundamental freedoms, and make life better for everyday Americans and working families.

“Tonight, President Biden made clear the historic progress his administration has taken to build an economy and country for everyone. Under his leadership, we have worked to defend democracy and freedom, bring down costs, create good paying jobs, and move our country forward,” said Congresswoman Linda T. Sánchez. “As we look to build on that progress, I am committed to working with my colleagues in delivering a future for all working families and finishing the job they sent us to do.”

Congresswoman Sánchez continued: "I was also honored to be joined tonight by Pico Rivera Councilmember Gustavo Camacho. Councilmember Camacho exemplifies the work Democrats are doing to fight for everyday Americans and working families. It was my pleasure to have him as my guest for the President's State of the Union Address."

Earlier in the day, Congresswoman Sánchez and Councilmember Camacho attended a reception hosted by Democratic Leader Hakeem Jefferies before going to the House floor to listen to the President’s address.
