Today, Congresswoman Linda T. Sánchez (CA-38) announced she was proud to vote for the Build Back Better Act, legislation that will provide one of the biggest middle class tax cuts in history, guarantee four weeks of paid family and medical leave for all Americans, deliver free preschool for all 3- and 4-year-olds, make historic investments in our fight against climate change, and put California and the country on track to a more vibrant economic future. The bill now heads to the Senate for consideration.

On Friday night, Congresswoman Linda T. Sánchez (CA-38) voted to pass the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, which will revitalize our nation’s infrastructure, grow our economy, create millions of good paying jobs, and help build a clean and sustainable future. Also on Friday night, Congresswoman Sánchez voted to begin consideration of the Build Back Better Act, setting the larger spending package up for a vote in the coming weeks.

The Committee successfully marked up measures to deliver twelve weeks of paid family and medical leave to workers, combat climate change, cut taxes for working families, create jobs, and lower the cost of child care, health care, and other critical services, as well as measures on funding these priorities.
