Washington, DC- Congresswoman Linda Sánchez (CA-39) released the following statement today after the Department of Labor announced that the economy added 227,000 jobs in February, marking 24 consecutive months of private sector job growth.
“I am encouraged by the economy’s continued signs of improvement. February was a month of robust job growth, and unemployment at its lowest rate in three years. While this is positive news, I know that millions of Americans continue to struggle to make ends meet.
