WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, the 2009 Presidential Inaugural Committee announced the honorary co-chairs for the Inauguration of President-elect Barack Obama and Vice President-elect Joe Biden.

Washington -- Congresswoman Linda Sánchez today attended a House Judiciary Committee hearing on the Justice Department Inspector General and Office of Professional Responsibility's recently released report on the U.S. Attorney firing controversy. Congresswoman Sánchez is the Chair of the Judiciary Committee's Subcommittee on Commercial and Administrative Law (CAL), which initiated oversight efforts, ultimately prompting the Justice Department investigation.

"The revised plan we voted on today was better than the three-page White House version we were given a week ago, but it still fell short of something my conscience would permit me to vote for.
