Congresswomen Linda T. Sánchez (D-CA) and Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) today re-introduced the Fairness in Nursing Home Arbitration Act to protect elderly Americans in nursing homes. This legislation would prohibit long-term care facilities from requiring or soliciting residents to enter into pre-dispute, mandatory, binding arbitration agreements.

Today, Congresswoman Linda T. Sánchez (CA-38) was on site in Montebello at the Mexican American Opportunity Foundation (MAOF) headquarters for a Rite Aid COVID-19 vaccine clinic. Over the last month, Rite Aid has been organizing vaccine clinics in vulnerable and underserved California communities. In effort to get more residents in her district vaccinated, Congresswoman Sánchez worked to connect MAOF with Rite Aid for the vaccination clinic.

Congresswoman Linda T. Sánchez (D-CA) is pleased to welcome Ricky Le aboard to serve as her Chief of Staff. Ricky Le brings two decades of political and Capitol Hill experience to the Congresswoman's office.

Le joins the office after working on emerging technology issues for a California-based software company. Le previously served as Chief of Staff to Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), Deputy Chief of Staff and Counsel to Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-CA), and also spent three years as Executive Director of the California Democratic Congressional Delegation.
