Washington, DC –Rep. Linda Sánchez reminded local tax-exempt organizations to file a tax return by Monday, May 17, 2010 in order to avoid losing their tax-exempt status. Approximately 18,000 California nonprofits haven't done it yet.

Local High School Art to be Displayed in Nation's Capitol

Washington, DC – On Saturday, local high school students were announced the winners of Congresswoman Linda Sánchez' 8th Annual 39th Congressional District High School Art Competition.

Samantha Spawton, a Senior at Mayfair High School in Lakewood, took first place with her piece titled, "They're Gonna Eat Me Alive."
