Washington, DC –Congresswoman Linda Sánchez introduced legislation (H.R. 2158) yesterday to honor the accomplishments of long-time civic leader and public servant, the Honorable Wayne Grisham by designating the U.S. Post Office located at 14901 Adelfa Drive, La Mirada, CA, as the "Wayne Grisham Post Office."

Local Vietnam Veteran Calls on President to Designate National Day of Recognition

Washington, DC –Congresswoman Linda Sánchez (CA-39) today joined U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) to lead Senate and House colleagues of both parties in sending a letter to President Obama requesting that he designate March 29as "National Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day." This proclamation would honor Vietnam veterans each year on the date the last American combat forces withdrew from Vietnam, according to the terms of the Treaty of Paris.
