Washington, DC- Congresswoman Linda Sánchez today introduced an amendment to H.R. 1890, the Trade Priorities and Accountability Act of 2015, that would prohibit the U.S. from entering into trade deals with countries whose laws call for the imprisonment, torture, or even death penalty for the supposed "crime" of sexual orientation.
Speaking before a Ways & Means Committee mark-up, Sánchez gave the following statement:
