Sánchez Statement on Passing of Councilmember Larry R. Nelson

Washington D.C. – Rep. Linda Sánchez issued the following statement today on the passing of Artesia Councilmember Larry R. Nelson:

"The passing of Councilmember Larry Nelson is a loss to the City of Artesia, but his work will live on in a community in which he truly believed, "every day is a good day."

"Larry's legacy will live in the annual Veteran's Day event he founded to honor men and women in uniform yesterday, today, and tomorrow. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends."
