Sánchez Launches New Constituent Service Web Site

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congresswoman Linda Sánchez (CA-39th) today unveiled her new website, offering constituents a quick and easy way to access information. This website directly addresses the needs of the people in the 39th district, and is available in both English and Spanish.

"Constituent Service is my number one priority, and our virtual office is great way for people to seek my assistance at a time and place that is most convenient for them," said Congresswoman Linda Sánchez.

General contact information for both the Washington and Lakewood offices, as well as e-mail access is also posted. "I appreciate people taking time to share their views with me, and an email or fax is an excellent way to contact my office," said Sánchez.

Constituents can also access information on federal grant resources, help with things like Social Security and Medicare, applying for Academy appointments, and visiting the Capital. The site also includes information for internships and for having flags flown over the Capitol. Direct links to cities in the 39th district and multilingual federal resources and are also available.

"In light of our current national situation with Iraq, many people have asked how they can lend a hand to help our troops and their families. So I have introduced a new set of links that can connect people to military services," said Congresswoman Linda Sánchez.

In addition, the website offers residents a way to learn what Congresswoman Sánchez is doing for them in Washington. "You can find up to date links on floor proceedings and search legislation from the comfort of your own home."

The youth area was designed with students and teachers in mind. "In this section you will find activities, games and links to sites that will help children learn more about our government," said Sánchez.
