Sánchez Hires Ricky Le As Chief of Staff
Congresswoman Linda T. Sánchez (D-CA) is pleased to welcome Ricky Le aboard to serve as her Chief of Staff. Ricky Le brings two decades of political and Capitol Hill experience to the Congresswoman's office.
Le joins the office after working on emerging technology issues for a California-based software company. Le previously served as Chief of Staff to Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), Deputy Chief of Staff and Counsel to Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-CA), and also spent three years as Executive Director of the California Democratic Congressional Delegation.
"I am thrilled to welcome Ricky to our office," Congresswoman Linda T. Sánchez said. "As a former Hill Chief of Staff and Executive Director for the California Democratic Congressional Delegation, he brings with him a wealth of California and D.C. knowledge. As we pull ourselves from this pandemic and set our eyes on recovery, there is no doubt we will have our work cut out for us. I will lean on Ricky's legislative expertise as we tackle that effort head-on and prioritize working families in Southern California and build back a stronger economy."
Le, who was born in Vietnam and came to the United States as a refugee, joins the team as the Congresswoman continues working to pass the U.S. Citizenship Act, a bold, inclusive, and humane framework for the future of our country's immigration system.
Le grew up the San Francisco Bay area. He holds a Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
