MEDIA ADVISORY: Rep. Linda Sánchez, Democratic leaders respond to H.R. 2, announce introduction of the U.S. Citizenship Act of 2023

WASHINGTON – TODAY, May 10 at 12 PM EDT, Congresswoman Linda T. Sánchez (D-CA) will be joined by leaders on immigration reform and House Democratic leadership to respond to H.R. 2, the Child Deportation Act, legislation proposed by House Republicans that would hurt immigrant and border communities and negatively impact the nation’s economy.

Additionally, Congresswoman Sánchez will announce the introduction of the U.S. Citizenship Act of 2023, a humane, common-sense, and long-overdue approach to solving our immigration challenges. The Congresswoman will formally file the legislation after the press conference.
