  • Congressional Hispanic Caucus: Congressman Sánchez was elected by her colleagues to serve as the Chair for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC) – a position which affords her the opportunity to ensure the needs of the Latino community are being met through legislative action and advocacy.   • Senior Democratic Whip: Congresswoman Sánchez serves as a Senior Whip for the Democratic Caucus. As a Senior Whip, Congresswoman Sánchez works with the Senior Whip team on a strategy to address key issues facing the country and then works with other members of the Caucus on upcoming legislation.


  • Ethics Committee: As the Ranking Member on the House Ethics Committee, Congresswoman Linda Sánchez helps Members of Congress and their staffs maintain the standards of conduct outlined in the rules of the House of Representatives. Her role on this Committee helps guarantee that the American people can have faith and confidence in their elected leaders.

  • Ways and Means Committee: Congresswoman Sánchez serves on the powerful and prestigious House Committee on Ways and Means. The House Committee on Ways and Means is the chief tax-writing committee in Congress and also plays a critical role in federal legislation on trade, Social Security, and Medicare.

  • On the House Committee on Ways and Means, Congresswoman Sánchez serves on the Subcommittee on Tax Policy. The Subcommittee on Tax Policy has jurisdiction over federal tax policy. 

  • Select Committee on Benghazi: As a member of the Select Committee on Benghazi, Congresswoman Sánchez is fighting to ensure the American people recieve all of the facts on the Benghazi attacks.
