WASHINGTON—U.S. Representative Linda T. Sánchez (D-CA) today issued the following statement on the Southern District of New York’s decision in State of New York, et al., vs. Donald J. Trump to block the Trump Administration’s efforts to exclude undocumented immigrants from the Census’s apportionment count.
“Today’s decision by the Southern District of New York is a win for a lawful 2020 Census and a loss for Trump’s hurtful partisan politics.

Washington, DC—U.S. Representatives Linda T. Sánchez (CA-38), Harley Rouda (CA-48), and Katie Porter (CA-45) led a group of Orange County lawmakers in requesting a briefing from the Board of Education over its decision to reopen schools this fall. In a letter to the Board, the Members expressed safety concerns and sought additional clarification over its recommendations.
